A pareto chart is a bar chart and line chart displayed on the same graph. Often associated with cost analysis, this chart type plots the bars from left to right in order of largest to smallest. The line is representative of the sum of the data (percentage) represented by the bars. The left vertical axis most commonly displays the frequency of occurrence but can also display cost or other units of measurement. The right vertical axis is generally reserved for the cumulative percentage of those occurrences. There are many customizations and styles available for pareto charts using ZingChart.
Pareto charts have a variety of different styles and configurations. Some change the aestetics, and others change the visualization's meanings. Click on each configuration to find out more
